Two Retail Shopping Centers Sold in Florida

Port St. Lucie, Florida – We have information from Florida on acquisitions, today. Inland Real Estate Acquisitions Inc. has purchased two retail shopping centers in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Port St. Lucie is approximately 49 miles north of Palm Beach. The purchase price for these two retail shopping centers is for $73.7 million. These retail shopping centers were bought on behalf of Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust Inc. Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust, Inc. is a newly formed corporation that intends to be taxed as a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

One of the net lease investments is a Publix anchored shopping center. The Tradition Village Center, which is anchored by a Publix grocery store is 112,421 square-feet. The REIT also bought a portion of another Investment Property. The other net lease investment is a 359,775 square-foot, called The Landing at Tradition. This property is a true power center.

The Publix Super Market is at Tradition Square at 10400 SW Village Center Drive, Port Saint Lucie. If you are in the area, don’t miss Kilwin’s.
